3 Leaf Clover
6 years ago, 3 Leaf Clover was a group of teenag boys setting out to discover the finer points of music. 2 out of 4 with musical knowledge wasn't a bad start! Having been best friends and coming from St. Patrick's School, it was easy kicking off with the band. They write their own music speaking of life experiences and present day travesties, whilst striving for simplicity and perfection. Not being hard rockers or metal heads, their music have been quietly slipped into the pop/rock genre. 6 years on and they're a little wiser, serving the nation but still keeping the friendship and the music alive.
7IC
Stands for Seven in a Car, made up of two vocalists, a drummer, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist and a bassist(back-up vocals), all aged between 21 and 23. They play mostly Top 40s. Don't miss their performance this Sat!
DJ Eugene
DJ Leslie
Leslie’s journey into electronic music began in 1998 at the tender age of 14, when he first discovered the sounds of Epic House & Trance by chance at a friend’s party. He has been featured in clubs such as Hide Out, Pool Room Bar (dbl O), Bianco, Liquid Room, Cocco Latte and Suba, as well gaining radio airplay for one of his mixes “Gently Shifting between Moods” on Rico’s Liberation Show on Wkrz 91.3fm.

Updates, Updates!
Hip Hop Battle 2007 has expanded to include band performances in addition to just dances! Yes, we are opening our doors to you guys who love music and jamming and belting your hearts out... we received a number of requests by people to perform both dances and music - in addition to our Hip Hop Battle feature by B-Boys who will do it battle-style on stage! Plus, our guitar classes by the Young Achievers' Club has been voted second-most popular behind our hip hop classes, so what better way to showcase guitar talents than through band performances?
Local bands 7IC, King Kong Jane, 3 Leaf Clover, SkiVe, 52nd Street and many more will be performing, plus two teams of very talented B-Boys who will do a battle showdown on stage. Don't miss out!
Same day, same venue, with lots more fun and prizes to be won!
3rd March 2007

Hello!
There are certain things which you guys need to know regarding the registration process.
1. Each and every individual (regardless of group or solo act) should fill out the form with his/her particulars. Group acts can attach their forms in one email. GIVE YOUR GROUP A NAME! Send in your group picture if you have one, we will feature them on this blog.
2. The maximum number of participants per group is SEVEN. If you feel it absolutely necessary to include the eighth member, come to us and we will be happy to examine the situation.
3. MUSIC must be submitted by the 11th February at the briefing itself. Hip hop generally has a reputation for foul language, and since we wish to keep it clean (and away from the authorities), Battle Crew insists that you use the censored versions.
4. Payment ($15 nett per group/individual ) must be made at the briefing. Late payments will lead to penalties.
5. If for any reason you wish to drop out of the competition, please inform us by 13 February so we can give others a chance.
6. Please keep checking the website. Whatever questions and queries you have, replies to those will be posted here.
7. Use the tagboard AND the FORUMS as a medium to communicate with Battle Crew. We check the site on a daily basis and the chances of us replying to you are higher on the forums rather than through email.
Alrighty, see you on the 11th!
